ABOUT NY Green Fashion

NY Green Fashion is NY based Japanese webmedia, introducing world's sustainable fashion and lifestyle to Japanese people.

It's been a long time since the phrase "Green is the New Black" became popular here in NY.
Lots of high end fashion brands have used sustainable materials,
and lots of new designers have started up their sustainable collections.
We don't have to give up the style to save the earth and feel guilty to enjoy fashion any more.

NY Green Fashion wants to introduce this movement to Japanese people,
because it's still hard to find cool green fashion in Japan, even organic foods.

Fashion is fun, but at the same time, it's wasteful.
Japan is a huge contributor of that waste.
In near future, we hope every garment and accessories can be locally made by sustainable materials,
people can buy fashion items as needed,
and every surplus and old garments and accessories can be recycled or biodegradable.
To realize that, we think we have to speak out how cool green fashion can be.
That's the raison d'etre of NY Green Fashion.
